and controls cough. In fact, Mucinex DM is the only FDA-approved, 12 hour,
extended-release guaifenesin with dextromethorphan HBr. Mucinex DM is a
safe and effective combination medicine that's available without a prescription.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients: Dextromethorphan HBr (30 mg), Guaifenesin (600 mg) (Expectorant)
Inactive Ingredients: Carbomer 934P NF, D&C Yellow 10 Aluminum Lake,
Hypromellose USP, Magnesium Stearate NF, Microcrystalline Cellulose NF,
Sodium Starch Glycolate NF
Directions
Recommended dosage: Adults and children 12 years of age and over: One or
two tablets every 12 hours. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours.
