About Bio-C 1000 by Vitalogic

Bio C-1000 includes 1000mg of vitamin C in an antioxidant base of bioflavanoids, which compliments the vitamin C. Bio-C 1000 combines the most potent immune stabilizers available. With the addition of Hesperidin Complex and Acerola, the antioxidant actions of all the Bioflavonoids along with Vitamin C are intensified.

Ingredients

Vitamin C
Vitamin C plays a key role in the formation and integrity of bones, cartilage, muscle, teeth and blood vessels. It has also been shown to aid in the absorption of iron and support HDL (good) cholesterol, while lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol levels. Most importantly Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant.

Citrus Bioflavonoids
Citrus Bioflavonoids possess antioxidant activities, which help fight poor health and aging. Citrus Bioflavonoids have been investigated for their activity as anti-inflammatory.

Rutin
Rutin has strong antioxidant properties. It stabilizes and enhances the effects of Vitamin C. Rutin is important because it strengthens capillaries and can help people who bruise or bleed easily. Like other Bioflavonoids, Rutin can exert anti-inflammatory effects and also has demonstrated anti-cancer effects in some cancerous and pre-cancerous conditions.

Quercetin
Quercetin has been studied for a range of health conditions. In the past, it has been used for inflammatory and allergic type conditions due to its ability to inhibit the release of the chemicals that cause allergy symptoms. Quercetin has also been used successfully for disorders of the urinary tract, vascular problems.
